District Administration and TTD should jointly make coordinated arrangements for Sri Kodandarama Swamy Brahmotsavams: District Collector Dr. Cherukuri Sridhar

Special arrangements should be made with coordination among all departments for the upcoming Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, Ontimitta, including the celebrations of Sri Rama Navami and Sri Sita Rama Kalyanotsavam, said District Collector Dr. Cherukuri Sridhar.

A review meeting on the arrangements for the Brahmotsavams was held on Thursday evening at the TTD Guest House in Ontimitta. The meeting was attended by TTD JEO Sri V. Veerabrahmam, District SP Sri Shelke Nachiket Vishwanath and other officials.

Speaking on the occasion, the District Collector said that the festival will begin with Ankurarpanam on March 26, followed by Dwajarohanam on March 27, marking the start of the Brahmotsavams. He also informed that on April 1, during the Sri Sita Rama Kalyanotsavam, the State Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will present silk clothes (Pattu Vastras) to the deities on behalf of the State Government.

TTD JEO Sri V. Veerabrahmam said that strong arrangements should be made for security, traffic control, galleries, parking facilities, and a public address system considering the expected heavy rush of devotees. Keeping the summer season in mind, officials were instructed to arrange shamianas, drinking water, buttermilk distribution, Annaprasadam, and medical facilities for devotees.

He also informed that ORS packets distribution, ambulance services, uninterrupted power supply, flower decorations, and cultural programmes will be arranged during the celebrations.The District Collector and TTD JEO also reviewed the arrangements department-wise with the district administration and TTD officials.

Earlier, the District Collector offered prayers at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, Ontimitta.Joint Collector Dr. Nidhi Meena, Rajampet Sub-Collector Bhavana, TTD CE Satyanarayana, SEs Sri Manoharam and Sri Venkateswarlu, Deputy EOs Sri Rajendra Kumar, Sri Selvam and Sri Shivaprasad, Annaprasadam Special Officer Sri G.L.N. Sastry and several other officials attended the meeting.
