The Telangana Udayamakarula Community appeals to all political parties contesting the forthcoming Assembly By-Election on 11th November 2025 for the Jubilee Hills Constituency, Telangana, the commitee chairman Bandi Ramesh demanded.
The Telangana Udayamakarula played a vital role in the historic struggle for achieving a separate Telangana State. Under the banner of the Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC), representatives from 69 Udayamakarula groups, including students, state and central government employees, private employees, associations, societies, and political organizations, united for the cause of statehood.
After the formation of Telangana, successive state governments have not yet fulfilled the long-pending promises and genuine demands of the Telangana Udayamakarula community. Since 2014, our contributions and sacrifices remain unrecognized and unaddressed, even though many other sectors and groups have received benefits and land allocations.
We also remind the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) of the 2023 Assembly Election promise made to the Telangana Udayamakarula community — a promise which still remains pending.
Our Key Demands
1. Allocation of 250 square yards of land to every eligible Telangana Udayamakarudu.
2. Monthly pension of ₹25,000 for all recognized Telangana Udayamakarula.
3. Issuance of official identity cards recognizing their contribution to the Telangana movement.
4. Immediate withdrawal of all pending legal cases against Telangana Udayamakarula.
5. Extension of all welfare benefits earlier assured by the government.
We call upon all political parties participating in the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election to take a clear and firm stand on these issues and to include them in their election manifestos. The Telangana Udayamakarula community expects concrete action — not mere assurances — from those seeking the people’s mandate.
Telangana was achieved through collective struggle and sacrifice. Now, it is time for justice, recognition, and rehabilitation for those who made it possible.
