Bhavan’s New Science College, Narayanaguda, Hyderabad, achieved yet another milestone by successfully organizing a 10-hour Hackathon titled “UdbhavAthon 2026” on 13th March 2026, focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Agentic AI, and Open Innovation. The event was conducted from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on the college campus in collaboration with Denovate, bringing together enthusiastic students, innovators, and technology enthusiasts from various institutions.In his inaugural address, Dr. P. Krishna Rao, Principal of Bhavan’s New Science College, stated that “UdbhavAthon 2026” provided a vibrant platform for young minds to explore innovative ideas and develop technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges using cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence and emerging digital technologies. The hackathon aimed to encourage creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills among participants while promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students.The event witnessed active participation from several teams who worked intensively throughout the day to design and present innovative prototypes and solutions. Participants engaged in brainstorming sessions, coding, and developing AI-based models under the guidance of mentors and experts from the technology and academic community.Speaking on the occasion, Dr. S. Jai Kishan, Chairman, Bhavan’s New Science College, stated that such hackathons help bring out creativity and innovative thinking among students. At the end of the hackathon, the participating teams presented their projects before a panel of judges, who evaluated the ideas based on innovation, feasibility, technical implementation, and societal impact.
