The Malakpet Police with assistance of Commissioners Task Force team, arrested three accused persons relating to an incident of stabbing and robbery that occurred at Gaddiannaram, Malakpet, Hyderabad on 27.10.2026.
Brief facts of the case:
On 27.10.2026, between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM, an unknown person entered the residential flat of a woman residing at Pochamma basti, Gaddiannaram, by giving a false reason. He allegedly attacked her with a knife, causing serious injuries, and fled with her OnePlus mobile phone. The injured woman was shifted to Yashoda Hospital, Malakpet, for treatment.During the investigation, the police examined witnesses, collected CCTV footage from nearby premises and analysed the available evidence to identify the suspect. On 02.11.2026 at 16:15 Hours the police apprehended the main accused while conducting vehicle checks at Gaddiannaram X Road. Based on the investigation, two other accused persons allegedly involved in receiving and disposing of stolen property were also apprehended.

2. Narapogu Vamshi Krishna @ Narapaka Vamshi Krishna @ Nalli @ Vamshi S/o Late Narapaka Prasad, Age:- 28 Years, Occ:-Auto Driver, R/o Foot Path, Near Alfa Hotel, Secunderabad. N/o Shiva Nagar, Warangal Dist.
3. Ajay Kumar @ Ajay, S/o Late Rajendra Prasad, Age:-28 years, Caste: Teli (Rathod), Occ: Sales Man in Ajam Milan Garments at Alfa Hotel, Secunderabad, N/o Balaji Nagar, Lucknow, Shajhahanpur, UttaarPradesh State.

Property recovered/seized:
1. One OnePlus mobile phone belonging to the injured woman.
2. (22) mobile phones of different makes and models.
3. Three motorcycles connected with theft cases registered at other police stations(AP31EA1836, TS08FL5984, AP31EA1836, AP11M7789) .
4. One steel knife allegedly used in the commission of the offence.
The investigation also revealed the alleged involvement of the accused in several property offences registered in different police station limits. The recovered property is being verified with the concerned police stations and cases.
Criminal Antecedents of the Accused:
The investigation revealed that Accused Nos. 1 and 2 are involved in several criminal cases registered in Hyderabad City and various other districts of Telangana i.e. Miryalaguda II Town PS, Suryapet I Town PS, Suryapet II Town PS, Chivvemla PS, Nalgonda I Town PS, Narketpally PS, Nakrekal PS, Uppal PS, Vanasthalipuram PS, Hayathnagar PS, Saroornagar PS, Hyderabad Market PS, Tukaramgate PS, OU City PS, Saidabad PS, Khammam PS.
A-1: Kesari Manikanta @ Naramdas Manikanta @ Munna @ Mani previously involved about 59 criminal cases registered in Hyderabad City and various other districts of Telangana.
A-2: Narapogu Vamshi Krishna @ Narapaka Vamshi Krishna @ Nalli @ Vamshi, previously involved about 39 criminal cases registered in Hyderabad City and various other districts of Telangana.
Further investigation is in progress to establish the involvement of the accused in other offences and to trace additional stolen property. The entire operation was made under the Supervision of Sri Khare Kiran Prabhakar IPS, DCP Charminar, Sri. Md Majeed, Addl. DCP Charminar Zone, the operation was led by Sri K. Venkat Reddy, SHO Malakpet, Sri Dharmireddy Giri, Detective Inspector of Police and Crime team.
