Under the Mahalakshmi Scheme, around 200 crore women across the state have availed free RTC bus travel. On this occasion, the Telangana government is celebrating Mahalakshmi Utsav across 97 RTC depots in the state.At the Khammam bus stand, State Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao participated in the celebrations. He received a warm welcome from women and RTC employees upon his arrival.Speaking at the event, Tummala stated that it was with the blessings of women that the Congress party came to power in Telangana. He emphasized that despite many challenges and difficulties, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s government is committed to efficiently implementing the Mahalakshmi scheme.Tummala added that the scheme was announced by CM Revanth Reddy on the birthday of Sonia Gandhi, the woman who gifted Telangana to the people. He noted that women across the state are expressing joy and gratitude while using the benefits of the Mahalakshmi scheme.
