Four individuals have been sanctioned a total of ₹6 lakhs from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for knee surgeries, thanks to the recommendation of Member of Parliament Ramasaahayam Raghuram Reddy.
The beneficiaries — Kolli Nagamma, Jala Dhanamma, Mondepudi Krishnarao, and Mandepudi Satyamma — all residents of Kotha Kamalapuram village in Karepalli mandal, had recently approached the MP seeking financial assistance for their surgeries. Responding promptly, Raghuram Reddy facilitated the approval of the funds and personally handed over the Letter of Credit (L.O.C.) documents to the beneficiaries on Tuesday at his residence in Hyderabad.
Each person has been allotted ₹1.5 lakhs for their knee operation at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS). MP Raghuram Reddy expressed hope that the surgeries would be successful and wished them a speedy recovery. On the occasion, the beneficiaries expressed heartfelt thanks to the MP.
