“This is not a leaders’ election… it’s a workers’ election!”

Eetaram bharatam Regional Network Incharge ,Madhusri Nalubola, Khammam July 21 :

BJP State General Secretary Kaasam Venkateswarlu called upon every BJP worker to treat the upcoming local body elections in the state as a challenge and work with victory as the goal. He addressed a special workshop organized by BJP in Khammam on Monday as the chief guest.Speaking on the occasion, he said:

“This is not a leaders’ election… it’s a workers’ election!”He clarified that funds for village development have come only through BJP governments. He emphasized that BJP should contest every position at the grassroots level and that every vote should contribute to national development.

“Take Congress failures to every doorstep”

He stated that in the last two years, the Congress state government failed to release funds to local bodies, crippling rural administration.“If Narendra Modi’s government had not directly released funds, the condition of villages would have been even worse,” he pointed out.He urged workers to go village to village, house to house, and explain the development brought by the Modi government to the people. He asserted that only through a strong action plan can BJP achieve success in local elections.“This time, win the village with your vote… and take the nation forward!” he declared.

“Palle Pragathi (Rural Progress) has become a hollow slogan”

District President Nelluri Koteshwar Rao

During the program, BJP Khammam District President Nelluri Koteshwar Rao launched a strong attack on Congress governance. He stated that the loan waiver promise made to farmers remained only in words. He pointed out that thousands of farmers in Khammam district still carry loan burdens exceeding two acresThe government failed to provide the paddy bonus and even delayed payments for paddy procured during summer, which he described as a new form of deception. He criticized the widespread issue of fake seeds, which is damaging agriculture, and the unavailability of genuine seeds.

“There is clear bias toward business interests. Power shortages and irrigation water issues are disrupting rural lives. Despite having three ministers from Khammam, the situation remains unchanged, which reflects the government’s negligence,” he said.He further alleged that welfare schemes like Indiramma housing, Yuva Shakti cards, and ration schemes are being misused for political gains. He accused the government of delivering benefits to the ineligible while ignoring the genuinely deserving.

“Work on the ground – Victory is the only goal”

Nelluri Koteshwar Rao added,“Even now, every party worker must get to the ground level. Reach every household. Expose the corruption and fraud of the Congress government to the public. Strive to ensure BJP’s victory in every position,” he appealed.Key leaders who attended the workshop include:
