Tallapalli Ramakrishna Goud has been appointed as the National General Secretary of the National BC Welfare Association. Dr. Arun Kumar, the National Working President of the association, handed over the appointment letter to him. Speaking on the occasion, Ramakrishna Goud stated that he would do his utmost to fight for the issues concerning Backward Classes (BCs) across the country.Ramakrishna Goud demanded that a separate ministry for BCs be established at the Centre and that the central budget allocation for BC development be increased to two lakh crore rupees.
He also demanded the nationwide implementation of full fee reimbursement and scholarship schemes for hostels and residential schools—modeled after the systems in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana—and urged the National BC Commission, as a constitutional body, to make recommendations to the central government to take measures for the economic, educational, employment, and developmental welfare of the BC community.
Ramakrishna Goud expressed his gratitude to Dr. Arun Kumar for entrusting him with this position.
