The Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, has called upon the public to make the Rythu Aashirwada Sabha (Farmers’ Blessing Convention) a grand success. The event is scheduled to be held on July 10 near the Matkepalli Cross Road in Jagannadhapuram village, under the Chinthakani mandal of Khammam district.
On Thursday, the Deputy CM, along with Wyra MLA Ramdas Naik, held a press conference at Latchagudem village in Chinthakani mandal to discuss the arrangements for the convention.

The Occasion: The Deputy CM stated that the Rythu Aashirwada Sabha is being organized on July 10 to mark the successful disbursement of ₹9,000 crores in Rythu Bharosa investment support into farmers’ accounts for the Monsoon (Vanakalam) crop season. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with the district in-charge minister, state cabinet ministers, and various public representatives, will grace the event.
Expected Turnout: An estimated 3 lakh farmers from all corners of the state are expected to attend. The Deputy CM appealed to every farmer to participate and bless the government. He emphasized that farmers are the backbone of the state and the government’s primary goal is to stand by them at every step. He reiterated that the government is making all necessary efforts to strengthen the agricultural sector.
Financial Comparison: Highlighting the government’s commitment, he pointed out that while the previous government provided only ₹72,000 crores in total over ten years under the farmer assistance scheme, the current government has credited ₹35,830 crores under Rythu Bharosa into farmers’ accounts in just two and a half years.
Expenditure on Agriculture: The government has spent ₹1,67,877 crores so far for the development of agriculture and allied sectors. These funds have been utilized to implement various welfare schemes, including farm loan waivers, grain bonuses, crop insurance, crop loss compensation, free electricity, power subsidies, and farm mechanization. He revealed that ₹9,000 crores of investment support was credited directly into farmers’ accounts in a record span of just nine days.
Focus on Khammam:He remarked that Khammam district is synonymous with agriculture, leading the way in agricultural development due to major irrigation projects like Nagarjuna Sagar. He assured that the government has absolute clarity regarding farmers’ welfare and will implement more farmer-centric schemes in the future.
