Shashank Pasupuleti, a young leader known for a decade of activism and social service, has been officially appointed as the Coordinator of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Legal, Human Rights & RTI Department.
The appointment was confirmed by TPCC Legal, Human Rights & RTI Department Chairman, Mr. Ponnam Ashok Goud, who praised Shashank’s commitment, transparency, and sense of responsibility. He stated that under the guidance of Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Shri Rahul Gandhi, All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, AICC Legal Cell Chairman Abhishek Manu Singhvi, TPCC President & Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy, TPCC Vice President & Legal Cell Incharge Dr. Kota Neelima, and TPCC Legal Chairman Shri Ponnam Ashok Goud, the department will move forward strongly.
Currently, under the leadership of R. Krishnayya, Shashank serves as the State BC Youth Vice President. For the past ten years, he has been at the forefront of movements, meetings, and awareness campaigns for BC reservations.He is also a State Executive Member of the Munir Kapu Community (Kachiguda), working to unite the community and build strong foundations across Telangana.
Shashank further serves as Vice President of Dakkan Manava Seva Samithi and General Secretary of the Secunderabad Ganesh Mahotsav Samithi, actively promoting Hindu cultural and traditional programs.In addition to his political and social leadership, Shashank is the Founder of “Word of India”, a news platform that boldly highlights public issues.Responding to the appointment, Mr. Ponnam Ashok Goud praised Shashank as a dedicated leader, expressing confidence that he would carry forward the values of the Congress Party among young lawyers.
In his remarks, Shashank reaffirmed his commitment to women’s safety, protection of fundamental rights, and raising awareness about RTI. He expressed confidence in working under the guidance of Dr. Kota Neelima and Mr. Ponnam Ashok Goud.
This appointment marks not only a significant milestone in Shashank Pasupuleti’s journey, but also a strengthening of the TPCC Legal, Human Rights & RTI Department in Telangana.
