A two-day ‘Vision 2034’ workshop on strategic planning for the future was held at the State Training Centre in Jeedimetla, under the aegis of the Telangana State Bharat Scouts and Guides organization. The Chief Guest for the event, State Joint Secretary Somanath Sharma, inaugurated the proceedings by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Addressing the gathering, he highlighted the primary objectives of the program: formulating an action plan to tackle future challenges, increasing membership and the number of units, fostering leadership, and devising strategies to implement set goals from the state down to the district level—all aimed at strengthening the organization over the next decade.He extended heartfelt gratitude to Resource Person Dr. B. Ramesh Patnaik—who attended following a special invitation and request from the National Headquarters—and to Dr. D.R.K. Sharma, whose key guidance is facilitating this event.He also extended special appreciation to the Scout Masters, Guide Captains, and key district organizers who attended from all districts in response to the call given by the State BSG.
Also present at the event were State Organizing Commissioners T. Parameshwar, Dr. Pramodini, and G. Venkat Reddy; John Samuel, Ram Mohan, Amara Jyothi Venkateswarlu, and Sai Niranjan; as well as technical experts Grishma Chandrika and Praveen.
Representing the Hyderabad District Scouts and Guides Association, Vice President Dr. Hamid and Secretary V. [text cuts off] District Training Commissioner Lakshman Naik, N. Karunakar, District Scouts Organizing Commissioner V. Ramulu Naik, Guide Organizing Commissioner P. Anitha, District Commissioner V. Hemalatha, and Accounts Section staff member Mamata attended the event. Speaking on the occasion, Hyderabad District Scouts and Guides Association Secretary Lakshman Naik expressed heartfelt appreciation—on behalf of the Hyderabad district—to State Treasurer Rajagopal, State Chief Commissioner Dana Kishore, and State BSG Secretary Dr. Naveen Nicholas for providing this opportunity. He stated that future Hyderabad District Scouts and Guides activities would be conducted efficiently with the cooperation of officials, and he extended special gratitude to District Educational Officer and Chief Commissioner Yadayya. He noted that, with their support, many teachers from government and private schools in the district had undergone new training. Additionally, B. Venkateswarlu, the Deputy Educational Officer of Bandlaguda Mandal, expressed his thanks to the District Scout Commissioner.
