Eetatam bharatam Hyderabad, Sept 18 : Rebuffing statement of state Congress president B Mahesh Kumar Goud that BJP trying to take credit for the Hyderabad states merger with the Indian Union, BJP Chief Spokesperson & Media Incharge N V Subhash asserted that BJP wanted to educate people about the facts of Telangana Liberation history.
The main intention of BJP was to educate people particularly young generation about the facts of erstwhile Nizam’s dictorial rule, he said adding that youth should know history of Telangana Liberation Day.
Service is duty of every BJP worker and our party never claim for any credit. It were Indian citizens who give credits to BJP on its performance, Subhash said.All previous governments during united Andhra Pradesh and present Congress government have failed to put truth before the people about the atrocities of Razakars, he said adding that celebration of September 17 as Telangana Liberation Day is intended to remember and mourn sacrifices of people and provide history about harassment of people by Nizam rulers.He accused previous BRS and Congress governments of not celebrating the day officially under the pressure of AIMIM with a fear of losing muslim votes. But central government has acknowledge the sacrifices of men, women, youth, farmers, poets, journalists who laid down their lives while fighting against Nizam regime and decided to celebrate September 17 officially for the last three years.
On the announcement of a Telangana new education policy , Subhash alleged that education system has been ruined during last 22 months in Congress rule affecting the lives of unemployed youth and now CM Revanth Reddy is making another promise of new education policy. He urged state Congress government to first fill up vacant posts of teaching staff in schools, colleges and universities to improve standard of education.
